Anyone speak Japanese?
« on: September 12, 2011, 09:58:41 am »
Hello everyone!  I recently got a Pachislo (skill stop) machine for my game room.  It's a Bellco Digi Flush.  Pretty excited about it, and even more so since it was free!  Gotta love generous cousins.  Anyway, a picture of the machine is attached below, in case you're curious what it looks like.

I am still trying to figure out how the game works as far as payouts and bonus games and such.   There is one bonus game I have seen so far when you get three Flush Digi's in a row, three green numbers appear on the right side of the machine.   I have no idea what these numbers do, or how the game works.   There is a sticker on the machine that, I'm assuming, explains how this mini-game works, but it's in japanese.   It's shown below.  Can anyone read Japanese?   I'd love to make an English version of this sticker, but I have no idea what it says?

Click here to see the full size high rez photo.

Can anyone help me out?  Please let me know if you need to know anything else!

Here's two more photos.  The first shows the digi flush icons a little better.  The second picture shows the green numbers I was referring to.  These appear right above a picture of a dart board.

This forum is a good resource for your information on your new machine (Congrats!).  You will need to register to see the page.  Note, it doesn't have the translation but there are people on the forum that could help translate.  Sorry, that's about all the help I've got.  I picked one up (Renkin) a few months ago, it's a lot of fun.

Thanks, I created a post on that forum as well.  Hopefully someone there or on this forum will be able to help me out.  Here's another picture as well...  Just based on the pictures alone, it still doesn't make sense to me.

I believe jigenjuke teaches in Japan, so he could possibly be able to help on translation.

You could try this site as well http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/. I to am having problems with the language, when I power up my Star Wars Pachinko machine a Japanese woman keeps saying something I don't understand.

Almost all the stuff you show is Katakana, and that is pretty easy to understand, as it is mostly English written in Japanese.
If you have a Mac, use the Kataka-input panel from the keyboard menu (next to the clock). Enter the characters, then past it on my site.

Thanks Blanka, didn't get this until after the weekend.  But before I left for the weekend, I remembered that my wife's godmother is married to someone who is Japanese.  So I emailed her and she was able to get him to translate most of it for me.   I'll post the pictures here just in case anyone gives a hoot besides me.   ;D

Link to the high rez photo so you can actually read it...

So basically what I am getting from reading over both pictures is this...
If you get three Digi's in a row, the three green numbers on the right will flash.
If all three numbers match, you will get into the bonus game.
If all three numbers are odd, you will get the Big Bonus game.
If all three numbers are even, you will get the regular bonus game.
Even if your three numbers do not match, if you get a 7 as one of the numbers, there is a chance you will get a bonus game.  The background will turn pink if you do.  You will win 7 high winning spins.
You will get a chance at the bonus game every 130 games - maximum 190.
Then I think that "navigation" message in one of the pictures is just saying that you're supposed to stop the three reels in the right order, as the lights light up for that specific reel.

The only part I don't get is the "While you are playing within 8 JAC games if you get [BBs three times], [RB once],  and then, if the background light turns red, a bonus is guaranteed !!" part.   If anyone has any guesses, let me know.  But I'm pretty happy with how much I know about it now.   Thanks for the help everyone!

I'm not 100% sure but from what I have read and from playing my machine (take that for what it's worth) when you're playing, you're trying to get the big jackpot.  For me it's 3 "7s" in a row.  When I hit that, the payout starts.  I get a counter, let's say it starts at 30 and each spin it counts down.  Because I've hit the jackpot though, this is where the skill stop is involved.  (I'm a little hazy here because I haven't played in a while but...)  During this phase you are trying to avoid getting a JAC-IN (see later)  You can do up to 10 jackpot spins without getting a JAC-IN.  While I'm taking my 30 spins, I might get a replay (3 replays in a row)  This is called a JAC-IN (I believe).  This stops my 30 spins and the counter resets to 8.  At this point, all 8 of these spins will win (for me it's 15 tokens).  Once those 8 spins are over, you go back to what is left of you're 30 jackpot spins.  Again you have up to 10 more tries to avoid a JAC-IN.  Once you complete your 3rd JAC-IN, the jackpot round is over whether or not you've used the 30 spins.

Does that make any sense?  This is how I remember it.  The Jackpot comes from the JAC-IN tokens, the 30 spins are your chance to make extra winnings.
