My Hardware setup, should this run most games?
« on: August 10, 2011, 07:56:36 am »
I tried to run it on my old laptop but the frontends are choppy and some games slow down at times so I'm just going to drop ~$200 and get some new hardware.  After doing some research I've come up with this:

Am I missing anything?  I don't need a keyboard/mouse, videocard. A wireless card would be nice but not needed.

Threads like yours pop up twice a week. A list of specs and then the question "Will this run all/most games". I think people are getting tired of answering the same question.

Try reading some of those threads first. They should contain more than enough information to answer your question.

Basically they all say if you have a average current pc with an average current videocard, you should be able to run most games.

I propose a subforum akin to "post hell", but publicly viewable. We can call it "Will my computer..."

Can we also add "How many pause/quit/admin buttons on my control panel"?

I would add a cheap $50 video card..... but nice cheap setup.
