USB panel mount

What the best Usb panel mount for cabinets. i came across some that people are using but they dont show how there mounting them and it seems that they woudnt look good anyway they are mounted. Anyone have pics of usb mounts that look good and directions on how they mounted them

That's what I have.  You simply drill a hole and attach with small wood screws.  I painted the wood screws and some of the metal bits flat black to blend in more with the flat black cabinet.  You won't find a simpler install than those panel mounts.  If you're worried about appearance, mount them underneath the control panel.

I got some like that. You can actually unscrew the housing off it and then screw it from inside the cab. You will need to cut a small hole that is a 'slit' sort of hole that the USB will pole through. This will give you a really clean finish. Difficult to describe, I'll try to take a photo of it. Hardest part of it is cutting the shape of the hole. If you have a dremel this will be simple though.

Here you go:

This is what the back of them looks like (assuming yours are the same as mine):



Pull those 2 screws out and the case comes off and this is what you're left with:



Shouldnt be too difficult to cut out a slot like hole to stick the 'normal' usb end through on the outside of your cab, and then use the screw holes to screw into the inside of your cab.  I havent done it yet but i'll give it a go.
