Control Panel Wiring Troubleshooting
« on: April 16, 2011, 08:37:18 pm »
I recently finished wiring my control panel for a 4 player setup. Everything works great except for one issue.

A button is not firing if it is pressed immediately following another button. If the button is pressed anytime other than right after the button it will register.

Ex. Button 4 works if pressed anytime other than after Button 3. If Button 3 is pressed Button 4 fails to register the first press, but will register the second press.

Any idea on what I missed?

Check to make sure you are on the NO and Com contacts of each switch.

Button 3 was mapped to Alt. When I pressed button 4 in my test application it was not registering due to the focus being on the menu.

Yay for not having to rewire though!
