Put the Cp bolt's on the inlay to see how they look and wow they look good.

Worked on the control panel last night drilled holes and added latches  plus hacked my first pc game pad since I wanted to keep the I-pac 2 for another game cab for the future
and the best part it work's  not bad for beginner's luck  ;D

still need's bondo and a paint job plus other thing's like Blue 1 and 2 player button's plus a orange jump button and a black ball joystick plus Marquee and side art plus instruction card's, 10 feet of white t-molding, Coin Mech's
Now using the other cp joystick and buttons
I do have some white T-molding that will cover the cp though but no table saw or router.
But my son is having fun again he did miss the cabinet when I pulled the old Cp out

Nice job on the cab and the high score. DK is a really tough game to master. It seems like the better you make the cab look, the higher your score climbs. :D

I was stuck on around 160K high score for ages and set my goal to break the 200K barrier. It took me months on and off to break 200K... and when I did it was only a couple opf weeks or so to 300K. (My current high is 365K). In fact when I got that high score I even broke 200K on the first man!

What i'm saying is when you break a goal it can be like a dam burst. All of a sudden you realise and learn some new stuff and then it seems easy. Having said that I'm still trying to break 400K now. I'm back to taking months again......

The leveling feet got reused in the New Base

Wanted to jump in here and point out that unfortunately the vinyl/cassette and CD of the PAC-MAN FEVER album are not the same.  Sadly, they lost the rights to the master tapes and had to re-record the whole album for CD release.  The most noticeable difference is the substitution of real dog and cat noises instead of sounds from the Mouse Trap arcade game, since they couldn't find a working machine to record from.  I assume they avoided MAME for legal reasons.  I still recommend buying the CD, just that you may want to back it up with the vinyl or cassette.

You could get the record and transfer it to a cd using a sound capture card

You guys are all aware that it's a fairly horrible album, right?

Just get the vinyl for novelty display purposes - never play it.  ;)

(I do have the vinyl version and have listened to it in it's entirety out of morbid curiosity one evening. It was quite grating...)

Yes, you could definitely do that.  I like having the pressed disc and packaging (what there is of it) of the commercial CD, but I would like to be able to listen to the original recording again.  One of these days I need to fire up the turntable and the $200 Firewire audio interface I've never used and actually make a CD-R of the LP.  Oh, and the 45 of the title track, since it had the instrumental on the B-side.  Not sure if Do The Donkey Kong was the same, but I'll have to check that out.  I also need to find Digital Air's Dig Dug, which I don't think I've ever actually heard.

LOL... yes, some of the tracks are downright annoying, but a deep love for all things arcade tends to mitigate that. ;)  After all, it's a heckuva lot better than those old ATARI book-and-record sets/picture discs based on Yars' Revenge, etc.

Heh, fair enough. Just wanted to make sure you guys weren't going crazy recording vinyl and realizing you wasted a couple of hours of your life.

And I do also have the Pacman Fever single.  It's a very hard piece of square vinyl with the Pacman screenshot. The best part about it is the instrumental on the B-side, as you mentioned. The perfect background music if you're putting together an arcade-related video on YouTube.
