best way to keep the cab cool

How do you guys keep your cab cool. I was going to put some fan blowers on the back of the cab, but is that enough. Also how much air do I need.

I have an original vent hole in the floor, and a few on the top back (old arcade cab converted to MAME) and I don't have any fans in it..

it seems to be fine for now...

Try to run it w/o fans and check the temperature once in a while.  If you have a new PC, it will actually tell you the Motherboard / CPU temperature on screen.

I have a few 80 mm fans at the bottom of the back of my cab, but it turned out they were unnecessary so I disconnected them.

Go here if you want to see a pic of them:

Well I haven't done it yet but I have thought to try fans at the bottom back. Now the top slanted piece would be made of pegboard.  With the fact that I am going to be using an s-video tv I think this will provide the best way to vent heat! That and my cabinet will be in a corner so that part cant be seen. Still it isn't a great solution but I think it will help. Now if anyone has tried pegboard I would love to hear how it worked out for them.

I just left the back off (I didn't even build a back). The cabinet sits in a corner so you cannot see the back yet it's not pushed up against a wall so there is space for air to move behind/in/out of the cabinet.

The monitor cools by convection just like the one on your desk. The vents are in the back anyway and are exposed to room temperature.

The PC is in the case and is cooled like any other (internal fans).

The florescent tube doesn't make much heat.

I haven't had any problems yet and the cabinet is very quiet.

Air intake fans at the botton

I got a $7 desk fan gonna be inside pointing up

and a large exit vent at the top

and if thats not enough, two more exit fans at the top
