Don't do a 10 minute video and 9+minutes of the video shows game play footage. Show the cabinet, inside and out, the front end setup, but there is no reason to show a 2 rounds of Mortal Kombat.

I need to edit mine and WMM doesnt read my video right, just a green screen despite showing fine in the preview window and im sure I have every codec known to man

Also, everyone should be taking MORE videos of their cabs.  You spent all this time on it - show it off!  You can upload to YouTube directly from your phone now and the quality (at least on my iPhone4) is pretty good.  It has never been easier!

I think the problem is there's too many vids that are all just "hey look what I got." I wish there were more videos that are a bit more comprehensive. Show what's under the hood, some design ideas, explain certain design and tech aspects. There's not enough good cabinet build videos. Delusional and lumberjackass made some great ones. There's also some god awful videos from systm I'm sure everyone has seen where they spend more time talking about what they're gonna do and than time lapse over all the actual building.

i was just thinking about making a video the other day, but my family room is so dark, that they just don't turn out very well.

i do agree with the gameplay comments though, anyone interested enough to watch your mame cabinet video already knows about mame and knows what the gameplay is like.

Haha!  I actually like this guy. He's got loads of videos of his cabinets and yes he is a bit "hyper" when he speaks. It doesn't annoy me though. In fact I think it shows his excitement and passion for the hobby. I've watched a lot of his vids and they are quite cool.
