This is my first post but I've been lurking for a good month now and I'm still not savvy enough to find the answer I need so please go easy on me.
I have a generic cab that I'm currently working on converting to a mame cab. The wooden cp has some generic competitions installed on it.
What I want to do is get new joysticks but I want to make sure the mounting plates fit into the cp without having to route out more wood or redrill holes. (I had to travel out of town just to borrow a freaking router from a friend and I don't want to have to do it again

)
I heard that Sanwa JLWs will fit happ comp sized mount holes but if I get Sanwas I'd rather get the JLFs which will not fit.
Is it possible to attach a JLW mounting plate on a JLF joystick?
The other option I'm considering is getting Seimitsu LS-32 sticks. Will these fit on my cp without modification?
I also understand that these japanese joysticks are best if top mounted on wooden cp's but I believe that I have enough wood routed that bottom mounting would be just fine for me.
Thanks in advance.
