Loadman was in US for a few days
« on: January 18, 2009, 02:37:58 pm »
Hi,
If anyone cares  :dunno I am staying in Mankato MN for just over a week (10 days). I have a training course to go to during the weekdays but I may get some MaLa code done in my hotel room next weekend  ;)

It is weird coming from 'oz where I was swimming just a few days ago and now I am here trying to keep warm.

OK, this post does not mean much to MaLa fans, I was just bored in my Hotel room (Sunday).. forgive me

I don't know about this Minnesota thing.  I heard you about had this job sewn up:

However if you are really in Minnesota, grab your Speedo.  I hear the Polar Bear Club up there is going for a dip.

I quit checking bags a long time ago, but that is easy on short trips. Always carry on the things you know you will need for the first couple of days though. I'd buy you a beer, but you are still a couple thousand miles away from Nevada

Flying out MSP 3:30 Wed 28 to L.A. and then back down under.

So lunch could be done.  Should I wear a red carnation so you know who I am?

LOL.  Lunch is on me...that means...probably McDonald's!  ;D

Just kidding.  Run a web search for restaurants near MSP and make your pick (within reason -- I'm a working man, after all), and lunch will be free for you.

I'll PM you my contact info.

I look forward to it.

Paul Hogan was funny in the late 70s, I think. Then he was briefly rediscovered in the late 80s.

Hell, it was like that here last week, until a couple days ago when we got cloud and rain. However, the clouds kept in the warmth from said week, and so it's been like a spring rain.

For those people back home...

Happy Australia Day.   :applaud:

For those who don't know what that means, it is a public holiday in Oz on Monday (which in now over there).

Why? The Cricket and Tennis is on   :laugh2:

Well that is not the official reason.  Google it!
