Ha... saw this on the Soup.

As a gamer, I just never got into WOW.  I played for 10 minutes and I was done.   What he said went over my head big time.

I was coaxed into trying it once...  I couldn't get into it.  I did play Age of Conan for a few months and really liked it, but it got old after a while.  I think the whole thing I have against WOW is the culture it has inspired.

"Blizzard has confirmed that a new NPC will be entering the game.  Wildhammer Fact Checker, notably wearing a red shirt, will be a new NPC that will more than likely poke humor at Blizzard’s mistake."

Seanbaby did a write up of that thing, and one of my college buddies was one of the guys that was parodied.

I hesitated to post it here because he's actually a decent guy... and he does top secret crap for the military...

but... yeah... Seanbaby about nailed it.

It's on the internet, no more secrets:

FWIW:  We don't know which of the guys on the page is your friend so his secret will be safe.  ;)

I’M UNABLE TO CONTROL THE VOLUME OR INFLECTION OF MY VOICE. I ALSO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOUR GAME THAN YOU DO. WHAT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IS WHY THIS OBSCURE NON-ESSENTIAL NPC SEEMS TO BE LOCATED IN THE WRONG PLACE. I KNOW THAT THERE ARE DOZENS OF SIGNIFCANT CHANGES TO THE GAME IN THIS EXPANSION, BUT I’M MOST CURIOUS ABOUT THIS IRRELEVANT MINUTE DETAIL.

credit to my co-worker chris for that rant above, it was epic

If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Haha no joke. I played it for awhile, because I played all the other Warcraft games, and loved the gameplay and story... But man. Once you start actually thinking about how much time you waste, and that there is no "end", it blows your mind. Not to mention how much you have to PAY to play. Doing the same stuff over and over again, just to have it be obsolete every 6 months to a year.

Yeah no kidding. Those guys were like "Are you serious, thats your question?" I bet he was thrown out after that. Then the rest of the nerdlings cheered. If I were the Blizzard guys I would bust a Steve Jobs and be like "Ok thats it. This guy ruined it. No ---smurfing--- Cataclysm."

Then again half of Korea would probably commit suicide... ::)
Pictures are overrated anyway.

The Blizzard guys liked the red shirt guy so much that they made him an NPC in Cataclysm, which I think is awesome.

Oh damn. Ok, I didnt know that. That IS awesome. Blizzard is the best company. I have been trying to get a job there forever. Alas, all my efforts are for naught. Too bad I dont play WoW, I wont be able to see him. The trailer for Cataclysm looked awesome though.

I played it for a year and practically went around and solo'd via dual box.

Eventually I got wise and I now play it on my Arcade server and dual box it whenever I feel the need.  ;D
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

This version of the video makes it more fun:

To his defence (an at the risk of sounding like a WoW nerd myself), Falstad Wildhammer is more significant in WoW's lore than Malenko's coworker thinks; for the Blizzard guys in charge of the lore -Chris Metzen & Alex Afrasiabi, the guys in the panel- to forget how Falstad survived a major event is in fact a major mistake.
