There are a lot of 60-in-1 / Jamma problem threads with an orange space invader inside!

Maybe you should create one thread entitled 'Darren01274's 60-in-1/Jamma problem thread'?  :)

ground loop isolator
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

No.

How will this thread help others who have the same problem if it's deleted?

Create a hum 180 degrees out of phase with the original hum, the two will cancel out.

I was kidding.  Of course, it would work, but it would be way more trouble than it's worth.

What kind of speaker do you have hooked up?  Is it amplified?

Have you tried a computer speaker hooked up to the headphone jack on the board?  That's what I did on mine, no hum.

They are usually AC powered but some come with an adapter or  wall wart and these can be replaced by DC inside the cab if they are 12V.  If not 12V then not worth the work to replace a 9V with a regulator from the 12V supply.   The line power can be picked up at the same point as the AC for your arcade supply or PC supply depending on what you are using.
