Help me remember the name of this c64 game! Tank sim

I remember having this game on my trusty c64 - someone lent it to me I think, so I only had it for a short while. Basically, after it loads some dude's face pops up on screen and asks you a question of some sort. I think you needed the manual to know the answers, so I would just guess, and then reload it until I got it right. The actual game part was either driving or being the gunner [both?] of a tank. I think most of the screen was taken up with tank controls and you had a rectangular window to look through. I remember LOVING this game.

Also, airborne ranger. I went through like 3 copies of that one it was so [over]played.
