i found this on IGN....i didn't know hardly any of the answers, (except for the math section)...i got a 42%  most of my correct answers were guesses

Only 38%... lol.  I'm a "DudeBro Gamer".  Never touched an RPG/MMO and Pokemon?  Lol!  Never heard of 1/2 these characters, guess I'm too old to have played the most popular games from the past 10 years much.

SophT... did you ACTUALLY figure those percentages from the "You answered 5 of the 8 questions correctly in this section." messages at each interval?  And I thought I was bored today...lol!

I don't know that the math is right because a few of them said I answered 1 of 8, 2 of 8, 1 of 8, etc.

I ended with 30%, but I that's because I can do math for those no-game-knowledge-needed questions, and I know what the Star Wars game looks like.

I also don't know didly about RPG games, nor did I ever even care about the soap opera of Japanese names behind the games.

Hell, I should admit that when I play Donkey Kong I still say to myself (in my head of course);  

- 'Piano', for what I understand is a hat
- 'Telephone', for what I'm told is a purse
- 'Pie level', for what I've read to be a cement factory  

So you might imagine that this game really made no sense to me as a kid.  A plumber climbing where a construction worker should be, jumping barrels thrown by an ape and collecting tiny pianos, umbrellas and telephones, who would 'die' if he stepped in a pie.

Kinda funny, I guess.

i played FF7 so long the game timer stopped at 99hours... a lot of it was spent leveling up the "meta" iirc thats what they called it.

After History it's Math and so on... you have to click "Continue on to next section" right below where it tells you how many out of 12 you got right... it's above the "Try Again" option in GREEN lettering.

And the percentage is just one score it gives you at the end of all sections.  SophT just calculated percentages for each of his sections and posted them.

Pretty pleased with my 70%, also got Old School gamer.

Math and MMO/RTS sections really brought up my score.
