Wiring CP with IPAC
« on: July 29, 2003, 06:57:23 pm »
Hi

Just finished wiring my CP and plugged it in and no buttons or joysticks are working

Just a question the Ground is wired in series , i.e p1, to p2, etc....

does the end of the group go back to the ipac or just stop and if i have wired it back to the ipac is this the reason or should i test each button one by one

Look about 2/3 the way down.  You have it wired like that?

going back tot he ground where?

Basically you connect the grounds of the buttons together, daisy chain them like the pic then also have that ground goto the ipac ground.

Figured it out i was running from the ground to the button, then the next like the ipac diagram but on the last ground i was then running this back to the ipac, disconnected the cable and it all works apart from p2 and p2 right which is most likely a wiring problem but thanks for the help,

Really apprieciate it, Right next onto the cab
