Removing clicks from micro switches thread...
« on: March 17, 2010, 05:15:56 am »
...I can't seem to find it using the search function. :banghead:

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Legend! :D

Thank you. Nearly completed my cab, I'd say it's 80% finished, and after a few gaming, errr...testing sessions the missus is moaning about button noise! :lol

Will try and get some photos uploaded soon of the build. It's based on "The Woody" but has been modified a little.

Anyway, time to read up on these switch clicks...

Thanks again.

Before I forget, have many people done this or tried it out of interest? ???

If it doesn't work out for you, keep in mind GroovyGameGear's solutions:

Micro-leaf

Versa-Micro User-Adjustable Microswitches

jasonbar was selling a bunch of micro-leafs he wanted to get rid of: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=99497.0

Don't know if he still has 'em, but you can give him a shout, it might be a slightly cheaper solution. These are economic hard times ya' see... :)
