PSONE Bench Monitor
« on: November 07, 2009, 07:37:59 pm »
I have one two of those Old PSOne Portable LCDs.  I want to rig one up to test PCB output to determine if a video problem I'm having is board or monitor.  I know that some people convert these to VGA so I should be able to use it for arcade video outputs.  Does anyone know if this is possible and what the pinouts are? http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/attachments/lcd-display/1013d1071773185-sony-psone-lcd-vga-mod-wiring-ps1_lcd_schem.jpg

Can I hook up the arcade PCB to RGB and C-sync?

Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

I was just going to reference that.   :)

I never did get the harness for it going.  It's a shelved (for now) project.

excellent,  I got my underlying problem fixed another way. (Trial and error)  I'll still probabbly do this but now just for fun.
