Saturn Emulation/Yabause?
« on: October 06, 2009, 08:07:35 pm »
I have had zero luck with this emulator.

I have tried multiple versions and most recently have the newest version

0.9.10-win-exe

I have multiple Bios

EURO.bin
SEGA_100.bin
20091.bin
bkram.bin
Sega_101.bin

And I cannot even get a bios screen to load.

Anyone have much luck with this one?

System:
Dell Optiplex
2.8 Ghz  P4
2 Gig Ram
Nvidia 6800 video card
OS is windows xp 32 bit

I only toyed with SSF briefly (but didnt get it to work)

I was hesitent to invest much in SSF because I had read before that its requirements are somewhat higher (duel core) for decent speed. Plus I wasnt sure I wanted to mess with the automatic Daemon tools set up, because I am using Maximus Arcade as a front end, and was trying to keep things as simple as possible.

Do you run SSF on more average PC?

Also, is the SSF compatibility list much better? Because I was disappointed to see that the yabause compatibility list is a lot more buggy than the epsxe PS1 emulator (which works fine for me even in the front end, and I have a library of about 50 games for on my pc)
