AtomicFE with HAPP trackball mouse buttons ?
« on: October 03, 2009, 11:51:03 pm »
Is there a way to use the trackball mouse buttons in AtomicFE ?

I had done the layout in AtomicFE and wired my control panel later with mouse buttons from the happ trackball for credit 1 and credit 2. Now I just found out that I cant use mouse buttons in AtomicFE after all the time I've spent doing the layout.

So, is there a way or I just have to use another front end ?

Help please!!

Hi,

Does the trackball is seen as a mouse by windows?

Or does you button are seen as keyboard key ?

did you try to go in the "control" menu of AtomicStudio , then "configure" and change button affectation?

If your button are view as windows joysticl button, you have to use utilities like "Xpadder" or "Joy2Key".

Thank you for answering and sorry for the time it took to come back i've been very busy lately...

Finally, the issue was my lack of knowledge using mame... nothing to do with AtomicFE. My "mouse" (trackball) wasnt activated in my mame.ini file. I set it to 1 and everything worked.  :P My bad.

And since I've got your attention, thank you very much for AtomicFE. I'm discovering it more and more every day and I am very happy with it. Awesome work!!

By the way, I registered on the name of Nataq on the ArcheoGamers forum but never got any confirmation or password to access it... It's been like 5 days. Are you the one that can grant me access ?  :)

Thank you
