I just saw an infomercial on TV about a very interesting power saw.
It has two blades that rotate opposite each other, allowing it to cut in both directions.
Total cost is about 180 US dollars.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this saw, or seen it in operation?

First I heard of it was when they were running the reality show about Billy Mays.

Looks interesting but I doubt it is made well.

Cuts like a train on a track.  Yea!
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Interesting tool, but I'd like to try my hands on it first. Look at the operating costs though. Not counting tax or S&H, the saw itself costs $180 and a pair of replacement blades cost $40 for either Tungsten or Diamond blades(?!). Lubrication sticks set you back $15 for 25. Never mind the accessories.

For such a complex and proprietary product, I'd like a little more reassurance they'll still be around in two years when I'm still trying to order replacement blades. OmniReliant Holdings Inc doesn't exactly seem like a manufacturer.

Now that's just asking to to be an amputee.

I would be afraid the the slightest rotation of the tool in the middle of a cut would cause the blades to bend in towards each other.  That would get ugly fast.
