Flexible drafting ruler that holds shape in Canada?
« on: September 03, 2009, 05:31:52 pm »
Anyone know of an online supplier that sells flexible drafting rulers that hold their shape? I am looking for a 40" to draw the curved lines on my cab prior to jigsawing them.

Similar to this:

EDIT: Found one:

http://www.westerntechnical.com

They carry 32" and 40" for anyone else in Canada that might be interested.

There is a similar flexible product that is basically the same thing but it has holes in it that you can screw though and then use as a guide to template route the profile.

I saw it a while a go but I can't for the life of me seem to find it. If I do find it I'll post it.

Thanks Franco B...that one isn't bad either. I will see if that is local here too and compare...I can get the 32" pretty cheap and it looks like it will do the job.

50 pounds for a 1 meter piece of plastic??? holy cow.
I need to find a cheaper solution to scallop the edge of my cp.
Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets
