daemon (virtual cd) question
« on: September 06, 2009, 01:42:39 am »
hi all,

i can't find this info anywhere and everyone on here has been extremely helpful so i thought i would ask...

i use daemon tools to mount cd's thru my front end (mamewah) for cd consoles.  when i select a game, the explorer window opens (as if i were on the desktop, put a cd in, the explorer window pops open to show the contents of the media) over the front end for a second or two before the emulator loads up.  when exiting the emu back to the front end, you can see the discs window again as daemon works on unmounting the image.  it goes away and i'm back to the front end.

i'm looking for any advice on how to keep the window from opening when inserting a disc or mounting a disc image.

the weird thing is that this window doesn't open every time and i'm not sure why.

any help is appreciated folks, tony

that did her, thanks so much!  i had to hunt around a bit to find the 'auto start' disable but it did the trick.
