running consols
« on: August 19, 2009, 01:28:31 pm »
What if I want to run mame games and console games on my mame cab, what would I use so that all the games show on the same screen without having to choose which console ?

Is this understandable?
I know I can change in mamewah between mame and consoles but I would like to have them all show up.

why not post the answer??

I hate when people do this... The whole point of the message board isn't just for "you" to find "your" answer but so that if another has the same question they can find the answer they may be looking for too...

I assume you used a front end that allows you to mix games from different emulators in the same list?

Well, I've done this in mamewah.  I just used a game specific INI file to send a different emulator launch command line.  This way my Daphne games all show up in the main list with all the MAME games.  I'm also using an NMS file so that I can name the games as I please.  I don't have exact details, but can post them later if someone is interested.
