Lately, the tv station i normally stare at while eating dinner has been showing cricket. This is really sad because this station brought gems like Southpark and Drawn Together to Australia. So i've had to stare at other stations instead. I've been watching a bit of NASCAR, which is a hell of a lot more interesting than cricket. The crashes are fun

And when there are two guys so close in the lead that every corner is a battle

I'm curious though. Quite a few of the cars have Toyota Camry badges etc on them. What's that about? Are they actually Toyotas? Maybe Soarers or something? I always thought NASCAR was about American 'Muscle'. But then I did see on the telly once that since no American sedans are rear wheel drive anymore, that they have to really chop up whats available and make them rear wheel drive. Fitting 4 speeds, drive shaft, rear diff etc. That could be an opening for something like Soarers i suppose.
Or is it just sponsorship? And why the hell would one car company carry sponsorship of another?
Anyway, Kyle Busch and Brad Kesowolski are duking it out at the front right now. Better have another look-see...
