Time has come for me to pop a monitor/TV into my cabinet and i am looking for some advice.
Firstly, an arcade monitor is out of the question due to costs, want to keep the unit + delivery under a 100 quid.
The cabinet is a book project with no modifications to the monitor area as you can see here
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=93489.0.
Internal dimensions of the monitor recess in roughly 26" square.
The options that i can see are, a CRT (found a 22" Sony E530 @ 30.5kg), a 19" LCD (not widescreen), a 22" LCD Widescreen or a normal TV.
The 2 LCD's i assume are easy to mount in a frame, but the CRT and TV, how hard is it to secure them into place?, my cabinet will be getting moved now and again.
I am running mame on my cab, but will also have multiple emulators running so obviously would want the best resoultion for them, may also run some older PC games but haven't really decided on that just yet.
I assume that 5ms is the highest that you would advise on LCD's?
Sorry for all the questions, but i'm a bit unsure what i should go for.
