I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Thanks guys.
I did go. Damn near pissed my pants. ( I am just nervous)
blood pressure was 175 over 90 ?
I do not know what that means but it was a big deal to them.
I had a 30 min seasion with the doc.
I was wrong about hart lung specialist.
(don't get me wrong he was a DAMN good Doctor) caring and knew about me before I walked in the door.

My EKG came out OK. (all ways do)
took blood.
this doctor did some thing no other doctor did.   He took his scope and listend to my neck.
THIS WAS NEW.
He had talked to my sister allready ( she works for the Doctors offices ) ( 3 total)
My Mom was there for here own appointment today at 8am, mine was at 2:30
all she wanted to talk about was my appointment.

I see a Doctor in Frankfort ( a heart specialest on the 8Th) I think I am going for a stress test. I heard the word nuclear test?

also a event monitor.

After heart doc is done I am ORDED in for cloistral test.
Thyroid test.
etc. etc.  but they want to get all heart issues out of the way first.
Lungs are fine.  :-[
Yep still scared as hell.
I am stone cold sober as I type.
I am only scared of the cure. ( Long pause) I am not sure this is the right coarse to take.

I will give it a shot. Maybe even think about open heart surgery. (MAYBE!)
I do not want to drain all I have worked for to be a provider for.

I for got a few things.
He asked about convulsions? i did not know the answer.
I called my wife. The Doctor talked to my wife on speaker phone.

answer is no. she say's I reach for her hand and squeeze very hard.
My face turns BEET red and eyes become unfocused.
most times I am out only a few seconds.
but 3 times now she has had to slap the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- out of me and scream at me. almost to the point of administering CPR.

I thought I allways started breathing as soon as I pass out. ( Not true)
Doctor took special notice that 90% of the time I am in a sitting position  :dunno

I still fill like I have a cinder block on my chest. Tired all the time, hard to breath.

Holy crap! "Normal" is around 120 over 80 from what I've been told. Any higher than 160 systolic seems to be considered stage 2 hypertension. Looks like you'll be getting put on a new diet or blood pressure medication.

The only reason I know all this is because both of my parents were in the same really high range until medicated/life style change. They have been "educating" me so I can head it off before mine gets too bad. I've got a genetic disposition for high blood pressure. plus I used used to eat WAY too much salt. I've cut out about half the salt and don't even miss it.

No idea about the passing out and such...

It may be scary, but at least you can get help before it's too late. You'll thank yourself for getting yourself scared in many years when you're still alive and kickin'.

I think 120/80 is considered the beginning of pre-hypertension.

IIRC 120/80 is normal.

I'm glad you went, Daywane. Get the tests, take the meds. You'll feel better and you'll live longer, too.

HBP is not your issue Daywane.

I hit 210/140 when my enlarged heart stuttered & put me in the ER (who knows what it hit on the drive there). FYI: currently with 10mg daily of Bystolic I am still at about 160/95.

Something else is going on with you, get a 2nd & 3rd opinion.

i figured out what I want to do. (as far a the house)
next Friday I am going to the bank.
I am awaiting phone call from MN, and AZ.
as soon as I get a time and date. I am going to buy plane tickets round trip for my sons to come and visit me.

My daughters are here. My oldest son has never met his siblings.
Hell I have not seen him in 20 years!

This is my house mortgage presant to me. A family reunion.
Steaks on the grill, fireworks, 4 welling, target practice, I mean a big shebang!!!
