Problems Disassembling a Sharp XM-1801N Monitor
« on: May 31, 2009, 06:21:29 pm »
I decided to finally getting around to recapping one of the XM-1801 monitors from out of my Nintendo Vs machine, but after extracting the brute and unscrewing every screw I can find, I still can't get it apart and remove the main board to start recapping.  Most annoying is a group of green wires in the centre of the board.  They seem to end in what look like plugs, but the plugs also appear to be firmly soldered to the board.

 :dunno

Is there anyone who is experienced with the XM-1801 who can give me some advice on what is going on?

I was looking for some, but I didn't find any.

I will look again just in case.
