help me pickout a router bit

i combined 2 pieces of 3/4 mdf together (which in the end will appear to be 1 thick piece of wood)
anyway, iam looking for a nice bit to put a finishing edge on the piece.. any suggestions?

If I'm understanding your post then it sounds like you need a flush trim bit. It has a bearing that rides on the edge while the blades cut to make the edges identical.

3/4" + 3/4" = 1-1/2"
you want to profile the edge so it is something other than square correct?

If the two pieces are joined at a right angle, I'd say a nice 1/4" roundover would be nice.
