I tried looking up this Pinhedz but they dont seem to have a website. All I could find was an address in New Town STC. Is this place more like Chucks or more like Chucky Cheese - or is it more like a real 80's arcade? Do they sell beer?

Well, kids are outta town. So Wife and I may hit CP followed by the Queen. I have a free room voucher at the Queen, so we may get a buzz at CP, then onto the Queen to get shitfaced and play some VP. She is barking about Fast Eddie's on Saturday, and I fear I won't be vertical by the time CP's opens.

Please elaborate on Pinhedz...that may give me some incentive to go to Ameristar.

Its the polar opposite of CP

Pinhedz is much smaller, you must enter quarters, no beer, no arcade feel & no showbiz vibe to it either. Its a small store, the owner lives above it & the place is just a clean cool new pricey development. There are perhaps 8-12 machines..........From Bugs Bunny, MM, TMNT to Batman (Stern) & etc (not 100% on titles there BTW).

They are not always open either so call to get updated hours....Do not think of it as a replacement for Chucks, its just a "fix".

I was killing the TSPP last month & I need to redeem myself so if you go its on beeeyatch!

On KC Craiglsist there is a guy with a STTNG $4000, TOM $3800, and TOTAN for $3500. Sellers says they are in excellent condition. One of you guys should jump on one of these, or pool your money together and buy one (or all)!

If that TOM was closer to $3000 I would probably jump on it.

PW79 - no it was comfortable in the back room. He brought all the machines that were at his house and set them up in the arcade now - so he's got some new machines in there........and TOTAN is a pretty fun machine.

LL wised up and brought his better half with him on Friday. Sounded like he now has the green light to pursue a TOM. Not sure if it was drunk talk or not but hopefully for me it wasnt. Would be nice to have a sweet gem of a game like that available when we are over at his house.

Right on...word to the H-town.

Arabian Nights=Awesome...in the backroom and could actually hear some of the audio. Lots of gimmicks, a really cool machine.

Yeah, wife is all over TOM. Unfortunately, my discretionary funds are earmarked for a pool (not to mention I have to sell my motor-yacht). But yeah, she greenlighted my to buy a $4K machine when the time is right, so that is pretty cool. And don't give me ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- about a pool either. We met a bunch of her slutty friends up @ Fat Eddies saturday and they are ready to come to H-town and lay around the pool and feed me grapes.

Went to the Queen Saturday night. If it wouldnt have been for the wife's failure on the slots we would have walked away a couple hundred heavier. As it were, it only ended up being about $60 heavier......damn....

LL, once you get that pool and a TOM, there really will be no reason to ever leave your house again. Except to hit CP/Queen every once in a while.

It's hard for me to drum up a reason now, but you're right...it will be my little oasis. Unfortunately, I have to leave it to go to work 5 days a week, or else they would be auctioning off my oasis.

Friday night Queen results (after 4 hours at CP): Me = even, wife = down a buck and a quarter.

Shuffled off to room at the Queen somewhere around 4am

Wife had to drag me out of bed and hold 9mm to my head to get me to go to Fat Eddies, but once I got to the second icy cold draft, I started feeling better.

yoga, the SA earlier this year was far and away the worst one I have been to. They even kind of apologized before it started saying that there were gonna be some whopper auctions in OH and MI. Last November, they had a whole gang of pins, some were going pretty reasonable (T2 for about $700).

PW79...not getting a new pin anytime soon...unless something falls into my lap.

My kids left for gramma's house last friday. In the time since then (while under a tooth-pulling-like audit by the state of IL @ work):

Friday: CP/Queen...in bed at 4am
Sat: Fast Eddies...in bed at 1am
Sun: All Star Fanfest, Lumiere...home by 7pm (started @ noon)
Mon: Queen w/ old man...home at 10pm
Tue: All Star game...home at 11pm

5 straight drunks and I am dog-tired. Wife is dragging me to Maryville tonight for wings and beer...doesn't even sound good at this point.

Day 6: Alfonzos free wings and $12 buckets...called it a night about 10:30...rather mild in comparison. Didn't visit the kiddie casino...Alfonzo's game room , mostly redemption garbage.

Audit (shakedown) ended yesterday...a fine excuse to get blasted, but I think I was already pickled.

I don't know what tonight has in store. Wife is leaving, so I'll be a bachelor, but I'm pretty effin worn out. Thinking about either going to see Bruno or getting a hooker...or maybe just staying home and sleeping.

Kid update: Gramma witnessed my 3yo girl tell my 6yo boy she was gonna kick his ass. Father of the Year is within reach.

decided to swing by the Queen before I went home yesterday. Won 2 hundo...a nice change of pace. Then went home and watched reruns of the office.

Off to Lake of the Ozarks today for the weekend, then I pick the kiddos up sunday...end of the adventure.

Its going to be a good next few days: Saturday = 50 pinball machines on freeplay with hot pizza & cold beer, Sunday = 3 BluRays & BBQ all day, Monday = aww crap I work but Tuesday = Six Flags & no work

Most people were shying away from it, but I did not get to play it as there were too many other machines there I wanted to play. Give me a rundown on the game, just in case I see it again.

Aw ---Cleveland steamer--- man, Chuck arrived later on in the night...... but yeah I was there, damn!

I was the 30-year old 250lb 6ft 2 guy in jeans & a navy blue golf shirt with really short hair (well I am balding so I embrace it). Oh yeah I was sporting my 4 day old beard too. My brother was in a grey t-shirt with glasses..... Usually I am easy to spot since I always bring like 8 redbulls but I am not allowed to drink the Shrek piss any more.

We left early that night (stayed from 6:15-9:45), I regretted leaving early all day today. Man the place was a ghost town for the first hour, then the Hummer rolled up & then it was a full house.

Did you see that sexy ass fish tales machine all clear coated with new rubber, I almost pulled down my pants during a couple games.

Next time you go hit me up with a PM so we can do this right..... just dont play LL @ TSPP or he will blast you in the forums the next week.

Oh & about the Hook..... I am def not a fan but let me just say that if a really clean & cheap one made it in front of me at the right time & price I would consider buying one.

But I wouldn't actively peruse a Hook.

I like the PF & cab art, the back glass sucks so maybe they thought it would sell for more without it

I played TSPP more than any other last time and each game was more of an epic failure than the last. I did whip my broham-in-law's ass at MM, which he claimed to be experienced at. Maybe competion brings out my best/luckiest. Broham-in-law has apparently been talking ---Cleveland steamer--- about beating my hs on the old man's RBG...which I haven't played seriously in 4 years. I guess I'll have to make it a point to go dust him off of there soon.

Glad life is returning to normal...could feel my health fading by the day when the kiddos were gone.

Sexy-ass Fish Tale? Was Napolean Dynomite's gf there? Most of the broads there resemble Meg from the Family Guy.

I got there around 7 and almost closed the place down. I was the 5'10" 330lb guy in the jean shorts black tshirt with a beard and glasses. I really did not pay too much attention to people. I was like a kid in a candy store with free pick on everything!! Plus I got pretty drunk. Maybe we could meet up another time.

Yeah Yog CP is overwhelming the first few, er 6 times you go for sure.

I went to six flags yesterday & played Stern's Batman....if CP were open odds are I would have left the park hahaha

Speaking of Six Flags, the arcades are suck ass now days. Only one had a pin, the one buy the joker which to me will always be the buccaneer. It was all redemption in all the others.

@ LL, Napoleon Dynamite wasn't there but we can always hope for next month.
