Replacement Potentiometer for K4600
« on: March 22, 2009, 05:26:46 pm »
I need to replace VR406 on the neckboard. Anyone know what the aftermarket equivalent would be? Bob Roberts said I'd have to find a clunker 4600 and plunder it. Does that sound right?

Yeah, that's kind of an odd ball pot..... it's a 1M Ohm.
You might be able to search around for a replacement, Bob probably meant he doesn't have one and it would be easier to find one off an old board.

I might have one, but will have to go look.
I don't remember if the neckboard I just scrapped has one on it or not.

I have one...... if you still need it just PM me.

The first one I found was reading wrong, but I came across another loose neckboard and pulled that one.

BTW - What is actually wrong with yours ? Is it just flat busted?
