Reinstalling the Tri-Sync Utility worked and got the video stable. I have no idea why now the Tri-Sync utility made such a difference.... This is the 3 or 4th time installing it onto the machine, the only different is that this time I downloaded it again from the Ultimarc website, maybe it is updated from the version that I had.
It is seriously good to see that the stupid flickering is gone in Windows! At this point I now need to go to Radio Shack or Sears to get a hold of plastic screw drivers to make the final adjustments. The rotation is off, but it is livable at this point!
I do wish that there was a way to control the size & refresh rates of the WindowsXP boot up sequence (as this is now garbled until windows loads), but it is a trade off I am willing to deal with to have good clean game play for now. It is truly sad to have this monitor since the winter of 2007 and only now start to put so much time onto it.
What are a couple of games I can use to test those modes? So far I have played Street fighter, Tetris, TMNT Turtles in Time, Ms. Pacman, Mortal Kombat II, Mr. Do!, and Donkey Kong, all with good results.
Side Note: Tech Support at Billabs was more than happy to send me down to the local distributor office to have them fill out a PO for a new chassis when I spoke to them on the phone today. They are what seems to be a Class act!
