Windows XP : "loading your personal setting"
« on: January 23, 2009, 12:34:43 pm »
I have a popup windows with "loading your personal setting" when booting Windowx XP. How can I hide it?

I have read multiple thread (like this one) to customize Windows and all trick works to take out a lot of stuff but I cannot see how to remove this popup.

Any idea?

Oh! I got it. I must have skip this section.

   1.  Go to, Start Menu -> Run and enter regedit
   2. Navigate to entry:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows>CurrentVersion>Policies>System

   3. If there is an entry for "DisableStatusMessages" set it to 1 (the digit one)

Thx
