ROMLister can create MA lists with just about any filter. But it can't edit existing lists.

yeah...that is basically what I need to do. I created a gamelist in one PC then I moved it to the arcade thinking it was going to work. I assume that the file holds the location address of the files it needs to run from maximus arcade since it wont work in the cab but it does in the PC i created the file. I spent lots of time going through 7000+ roms and I would hate to redo all this.

maximus lists require a pointer to where the ROMs are on your machine, so if you built the list on one machine and then moved it, you'd have to make sure the roms are physically located on the same drive\folder on the arcade machine.  otherwise i'd think it should work.

the list itself is binary and compressed, so don't go trying to edit it yourself.

yes, I was thinking the same thing after I posted the previous msg. Rather just make the directory tree the same as this one then they should work...I just hope that it doesnt mind the drive letters...thnx
