Digital Multisync Monitor Suggestions (and where to get them) :)
« on: September 21, 2008, 04:24:20 am »
Hey Everyone,

As some of you may (or may not) know, I am building a UA II - MAME Arcade:  http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=82364.0

In begining to wrap up this project I'm really leaning towards purchasing a "Multi-Sync" monitor.  Since I have spent the money to get an authentic coin door, control panel, marquee, etc.,  I have been thinking about pulling out the Sony 27 inch TV and going all the way. :)

Now before you flame me.....yes...I have used the search function and looked at reviews, and some of the information is a tad out of date, but I would like to know what 27 inch Digital Multisync I should go with AND where?

A link would be helpful and contact information.   Unless someone sways me out of the way, I'm leaning towards:

Wells D9400 from here:  http://www.xgaming.com/htm/wells-gardner-mame-arcade-cabinet-machine-monitor.shtml

Thanks everyone for your help, opinions and information!

- Chase

looks like that is the only digital multi sync on the market atm anyway so you don't have much choice

As grantspain said, there isn't much choice anymore.  The Betson Multisync is also still available, but not recommended due to geometry issues on their recent batches.  I'd go with the D9400 if I were buying one now.
