Loaded it up .. very nice!    I like it a lot.

btw .. to hide the white border requires an overlay since the white is actually on the snaps themselves.  I've noticed you have to crop images a bit given the mix of vertical and horizontal images to make it look right.

If you aren't sure about the overlay let me know I will form one for your skin.  I am cranking all sorts of weird effect skins with overlays and scrolling backgrounds but I have yet to do a serious clean skin yet .. go figure.

actually strike that .. I played with an overlay and there is no pretty way to crop out both the horizontal and vertical edges.  I played with alpha settings as well, but too many images have white as a main image color to make that look good either.

To be honest I never even noticed that white border until now .. thanks a lot >:(       ;)

I just popped in to see waht everyone was up too.  I'm very busy at the moment, so not much time left for mame and fun stuff.  :)  The skin looks great!

About the border question.... quit getting snaps from mame32q&a and start getting them from crashtest.  He doesn't put borders on his snaps.  :)

Howard, glad you like. I know your a busy guy at the moment, but could you (or anyone) else tell me how the units for your skinner relate to pixel width. Ie, if I'm working on a skin thats 1024x768 and an element is 2000 units wide, what would be the pixel width of this.

The reason I'm asking is i've still got a slight bit of stretching on my snaps and can't manage to get them to display at the correct aspect, only a very snag, but its buggin me  :)

The units are in twips, which is a more accurate representation of a pixel.  Technically they vary from monitor to monitor but as a rule of thumb take the pixel values and multiply by 12 and that is the measurement in twips.  So for pixel values divide by twelve.

Boy GSXRMovistar that is a SWEET skin, so sweet I have finally got some inspiration on a front end for my Cab. It looks like Dragon King time for me. I had one question. Is there any way to skin the info screen? It would be very cool to be able to make a screen with the cab, marquee and other stuff not shown on a skin and to display the history.dat there.

That's bloody fantastic!!!   :o   ;D.

I haven't played with the skinner, mainly because I don't have a theme for my cab yet....just out of curiosity what are your opinions on ease of use?

Fantastic work GSXR on your skin, and Thanks for the fantastic FE Howard!!

Its a good little app, a few little bugs/issues I found whilst using it, but it does the job and thats what counts!

I LOVE THIS SKIN!

Please keep us posted when you make revisions.

I can't seem to get the snaps to display yet, but it looks amazing.  I am going to work on  making myself more custom logos for the different emus and adding my own instructions.

LOVE THIS!  Thank you for sharing it with us!
