Trap's Galaxian Mame machine.
« on: September 19, 2008, 10:43:28 am »
Hello,
Im new to this site (just found it a few weeks ago), but let me just say that i think its great! My machine has been "done" several times now. i built it myself from scratch and is the first thing ive ever really built. im certainly no master craftsman. when i originally built it 4 yrs ago i used 17" crt pc monitor and some how forgot a trackball. it now has a 22" lcd. i was also using just some self powered pc speakers inside the cabinet for sound.
Here's what it looked like 2 weeks ago.

lame cp graphics are lame. :( also alot of you probably hate my keyboard, but i absolutely love having it there as i often check my email and stuff on it.
here's what its looking like today.

i'm picking up a piece of lexan tonight and will hopefully have it back together before the weekend is over.
what do you think? thx for looking

I would use this BT one for the e-mails:

And please remove the stickers from the bezel. Then everything looks fine!

yeah, i did take them off. can see in the 2nd pic. dont know why is was trying to go with a multi theme on the CP and bezel and not the rest off the art.

You're right, I don't like the keyboard, but I do understand why you want it.  I actually like the multicade design if you get rid of the trackball mounting plate.

The new Galaxian theme is nice as well.  You might want to consider putting the Galaxian kick plate artwork on the front of the cab as well.
