Looking for this
« on: June 11, 2003, 11:43:25 pm »
Hey I found this on a website and I was really impressed. I was wondering if anyone knows where i could find a file of this. I want to use it for my cabinet but alter it for a 4 player in stead of just 2

that one was done by GSXRMoviestar, I don't know if he's made the file available but I don't think so.  My design is somewhat similar and the Photoshop file can be downloaded from this site.  Check it out: http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=6290

His background can be found at deviant art. It could be added to yours to look almost identical.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Yeah thats mine, the source files aren't currently avaliable but they may be soon if i can sort a few things with my work (thats where I did them).

And out of curiosity, which site did you find the image on? was it mine or someone elses?

Thanks
GSXR.

One thought, why not use a different image on your background, I'm all for duplicating good designs (mine was obviously inspired from Motofishes) but if your gonna go to the effort of creating your own cab/controller at least personalise it and make slightly unique artwork.

When looking for a backgound image to use on mine I short-listed literally tens of images and that was with a very limited critirea (space, black, blue, silver). Spend an evening or two going though DeviantArt, there or thousands of great works on there, just seems a shame not to make use of it.  ???

I agree........ but I also find that to be a really funny statement.
Sure you photoshopped it but you took someone elses design
and someone else's artwork and combined it. How is yours
original?

Heh. Not seriously slamming you or anything it just strikes a
humourous ironic chord with me.

How is yours
original?

Never said original, terms I used were 'personalise' and 'Slightly unique' ;)

That's the kind of setup I want for my own control panel, but mine will most likely have a rounded front. I like it, though.
