I saw the video earlier. The angle wasn't good, but it didn't look like it landed too well. He should have went with a roundhouse - he could have sent that guy flying and made a much sweeter video.

He's from Cuba.  He is probably a gov't official after doing that.

If he were smarter he would have known the real way to get even is to sweep the leg.

Well, he gave the ref a bloody nose, so I think he landed it well enough. I wonder if the ref could file criminal charges...would that be handled in China?

Um... so what? My father broke two ribs during a competition (Super G) when a moron tried to short cut across the course. My dad picked his own ass up, hiked back up the mountain and started the race over. Forty years later, the same man would shatter bones in his hand, duct tape the fingers together and go back to work in freezing temperatures.

A broken toe? Didn't seem to stop this guy from smacking the ref around a bit.

Doesn't matter if I'm reading it right.  60 seconds for medical attention or you are deemed unable to continue, I guess.

That's what I'm reading. I guess the assumption is that if you can't get back on your feet within 60 seconds, whether or not the medics can get to you in that time is a moot point.
