I recently got my hands on 'Oh! Bakkyuuun' also known as 'Ghoul Panic' in Europe for PS1. For those who never heard of it, this game seems to take a lot from the Point Blank series as it's from Namco as well. It features a pair of anthropomorphic cats with guns going through a haunted house. Stages are all similar challenges like you'd see in Point Blank except the stages are rendered in 3D and sometimes the camera even moves a bit, rail shooter style.
Simply put, it's cute and so far it's fun. It's Point Bankish so it must be fun, right?

Since I do anime and gaming events, I tend to lug out my many light guns and do game setups. I'd like to try and feature this game but I have two issues. 1) The Japanese version is in Japanese and thusly not the most approachable. Most should be able to grope though the Japanese to play the game but I'd prefer English. 2) As it was only releasedin Europe, that means PAL only. While my modded PS1 can run PAL games, it dumps a PAL signal which isn't terribly helpful as I'm in Canada and ALL our TVs run NTSC.
So what I'm asking is, is there a way to reliably patch a European PAL PS1 game to generate an NTSC signal on a PS1?
