MaLa sound issues
« on: June 27, 2008, 05:00:33 pm »
I'm having a strange problem with MaLa at the moment. I couldn't get my background ambient music to play at first and also Mame games were playing silent too. I quickly found that I had the sound volume down to minimum within the MaLa options menu. That solved the problems of sound in MaLa and Mame.

However, it seems that once I get sound activated in those programs, my sound is now disabled in all other Windows applications. I can't get Windows Media Player to have any sound, nor do I get sound on websites like YouTube. It's as though MaLa has hijacked my stereo headset.  :P

I can't help thinking it must be something simple... but can't think what.
