Thanks to my mother, who knew how badly I wanted one of these, I got mine this morning.
First impressions: my family is very impressed with it so far, and my wife is the one into serious training daily in our family. I spent 30 minutes with it and on the strength training especially, the thing kicked my behind. I am 226.5, tested in at obese (personally I believe overweight, but that's neither here nor there), but with a 34 + BMI. Bottom line, I knew I was out of shape, but I didn't know it was this bad.
Surprisingly enough, I actually liked the Yoga sections...and I've always said yoga was a joke. Yet, my back and legs felt much better after it.
Mini game wise: The ski games are my favorites. Man, I've got to get Wii Ski somehow soon though, just to have different courses. We've laughed til we've been sick at the soccer game - it's hard to tell at first whether some objects are balls or not (play it, you'll get it - no spoilers here).
I am at a complete loss as to what "ranking" one might give it. It's not going to appeal to everyone, but it sure is fun for those of us who cannot afford a health club membership and want to try to do something to keep the weight off. In about a week, when my first goal is tested (to lose three more pounds) will be when the truth comes out.
Oh, the runs in the park are very cute - my wife and daughter love the little Mii puppies!
