CHD Files

I'm setting up my frontend (GameEx) and adding CHD files, which are in a zip file with the rom file--but it's not showing up on the game list, is there a special installation for these files?

Take the chd file out of the zip file, and put it in a subfolder with the same name as the zip file.  (MameFAQ says it better than I do.)
