Monitor Specs ?!?

I'm trying to set up advance mame on my computer but I can't find some of the monitor specs.  The manual has refresh rate ranges but does not have specs for the front/back porch, synch pulse, etc...  Is there any way that I can probe my monitor to get these specs ?  I have an NEC MultiSync FP950
