Samba de Amigo for the Wii
« on: April 02, 2008, 04:21:23 pm »
After reading all the discussions here about the use of the Wiimote for various control schemes, I'm curious what everyone here thinks of Samba de Amigo coming to the Wii.

I really hope they get the control right, but I can't see it being easy going from the positional control of the original arcade and DC games to the directional control of the Wiimote.

I'm looking forward to it either way as there is just no better game for when the wife's friends are over and all liquored up.  >:D

I had Samba De Amigo for the Dreamcast back in the day (plus two sets of Maracas).  It was fun and I'd buy it again, but it needs to be a bit deeper in the song selection department for me to spend over $30 for it.  No more "Cup of Life"!!
