Wish list: Galaga, Pacman, Pooyan, Star Wars cockpit, Gauntlet, Tron

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.

How exactly were those pictures taken?  I thought google maps were all satellite images.

EDIT: looks like from the roof of a car.  Very cool.

How exactly were those pictures taken?  Definitely does not look like a satellite image when you zoom out.

They have a car with a special 360 degree camera mounted on the roof. I believe they bought out some company to do it. Pretty damn neat if you ask me.

Knowing how they did it though, I would not want to be the driver of that car in neighborhoods like that!

Yeah, it's pretty cool. You can take a virtual drive through several cities.

Streetview: Golden Gate Bridge[/url]

Did anyone ever see the documentary about people committing suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.  It's
pretty freaky how many were caught on camera.
