Hey guys, I have an old Street Fighter 2 JAMMA setup, kinda working with a JPAC plugged into my GeForce 5700 LE...
If I choose the right resolution in Powerstrip I can see decent doubled up output, and I see the doubled output for the BIOS as well... I'm *pretty* sure that if I run some fullscreen MAME and have it output the correct resolution, it should work right (display flickers slightly)...
Anyway, the problem...
The GeForce 5700 LE has 3 outputs, a standard VGA output, a TV output, and a DVI output...
Currently, I use my VGA output for my main monitor, so, if I run wonky resolutions/15khz etc, I get either a really ugly display or none whatsoever... What I'd really like to do, is use the DVI output (with VGA converter) to output to the arcade machine, and set the paramaters for that using powerstrip or soft15khz or something.
The problem is, my computer refuses to detect that I have anything plugged into that DVI port...
My question...
How can I force windows to output to that DVI port? All the NVidia tools allow me to do is force windows to output on the S-Video port (I'm not above caving and finding an svideo to vga converter if it's the last resort, but, I'd love to just handle it as a second monitor... my current PC has a really nice setup and I'd like to use it to power both my desktop gaming and my arcade cabinet gaming)
Anyway, all suggestions and input are welcome/appreciated... I'll be watching this thread like a hawk for input, because honestly I'm all out of ammo... tried just about all I can think of.
Happy Easter, btw.
****** Update *******
I am now running my primary monitor off of the DVI->VGA converted port and it works fine... the arcade monitor->JPAC->VGA port, however, still goes undetected... is there any way to tell windows that there is in fact something there that needs to be treated like a 2nd display?
