Your driving sucks, but what a great cab. It's yours ?

Very very nice

Any pics ?

I was playing Airline Pilots recently at an arcade and was amazed at how much feeling a three monitor cabs gives you. I really had a feeling of the weight of the plane, and still that cab doesn't move at all.

This machines is owned by a local collector friend of mine.   The video
shows my friend, his girl, and finally me playing.  I did the best... but that
was only like my 2nd time playing :)

I did get a TX-1 cab as well,  but sadly, the boards are foobared.  :(

Its true, the 3 screens (angled) really do add that extra impact.   Helps greatly
on the cornering, so you can see everything around you much better.

I also played another more modern racer that had 3 screens.  I think it was
a corvette game.  Cant recall.  It was pretty damn cool... but I sucked
even worse at that game  hehe

Still, TX-1 was much more fun :)

Maybe one day I can get my machine in action.  I got it for free... but I had
to rent a uhaul and drive for several hours each way.  With gas, a speeding ticket,
uhaul... it ended up costing like $400.   The guy said it was working, but when I
got there.. he realized it wasnt, so gave it to me for free.  I got the boards to
work for about a week.. but then something failed,  and the thing doesnt want
to work anymore :(

I think I have some pics that I can post a little later.

only "modern" 3 screen sit down racer I can think of is Ferrari 355.
I'll admit TX-1 looks pretty bad ass

Yep, it's amazing, Ferrari 355 is still quite widespread here and still earning good money.

I always, always, always forget to bring my Dreamcast memory module when I go to the arcade :D

Hey, I just read that Airline Pilots is Naomi based. Is there a Dreamcast version ?

I'm pretty good at flying that 777 (in easy mode :D).

TNT Amusements had one of these for sale a couple weeks ago. Wanted 700 bucks in working condition. Expensive for a game nowadays, but I guess you have to consider it has 3 working monitors in there.

So was this the first three-monitor game ? Or were there any before this ?
