Is there a reason to replace an old Act-Labs Light Gun

I have an act labs lightgun that I bought for my cabinet several years ago. Are the ones that they are selling now better in any way than the old ones or do the guns just look different?

The act labs lightgun is a great bit of kit. IMHO you cant get better for use on your cab. Looks like a piece of crap though!  My £0.02
