MAMEwah help; can't remove games from gamelist :(
« on: February 01, 2008, 02:21:11 pm »
I'm running MAMEwah  v1.62b13 under WINxp, and I'm trying to remove games, one at a time under the gameslist option screen, but it does not respond. The option "remove from list" is there, but I tried pressing "1" to remove it, and later, after I had mapped the "select" key to JOY1 on my gamepad, still no response. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)
So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

That doesn't work for the main game list. That option only works if you created a sub list from the main emulator list.

Oh! .... erm, is there an easy way to create a sub-list? I'll only be using MAMEwah as a front-end for MAME ... sorry if this has been covered before  ???

Check the wiki. It's for 1.61 but you'll get the idea.  ;D

Many thanks!! I'll have fun going thru the many hundreds of games that are "unworthy"  ;D

Edit: wow, it works ... turns out I had a "filtered" custom list sitting there the whole time  :P

Just one last question (The wiki wasn't clear enough for my dim-witted brain), how can I set up MAMEwah to start up using my filtered list automatically?

Editē: Ummm, I think it loaded up my filtered list automatically after I re-started. COOL!! :D :D
