love the SF character style, love the red background. Not sure if that much black in your marquee will come out nicely when backlit. But i might be wrong.

I would ditch the street fighter logo, you could easily incorporate its style into your logo. Instead of red and black colouring how about a bar style gradient. That way you wont have dark spots when its lit up. I would make your characters a little larger. It seems youve pulled them off a white background. If thats the case you need to generate a small glow around them to avoid pixelation. If your using PShop, add a drop shadow in white and then use the recolour brush to change the white shadow to black. It'll make the characters stand out more and hide the "Jaggies". Liking where this one is headed!

I removed the SF logo at the top and added the drop shadow behind them.. not sure what you mean by the gradient. :dizzy:

Bear with me as I only had a little time to do it, but this is what I meant by overlaying a bar gradient.

They are a re-draw that I have been working on for a customers marquee. I dont know who did the original it was a long time ago and was a very small image. Both characters will be for sale once I have finished them (No where near done yet). I was simply using them to show Kronos what I was trying to advise about his marquee and they were the only ken & ryu images I had to hand.

I really like the full red background art you posted as your second option.
Just add some cool text and that's a stunning marquee.
