nfl blitz/showtime showcase cab CP artwork critique
« on: January 21, 2008, 12:51:03 am »
My next project is a nflblitz/NBA showtime showcase cab based off the dynamo showcase cab. I'm running a dreamcast with these two games. Ive been working on a CPO and this is real close to final please let me know what you think about the artwork and also the button layout. Thanks.

Thats a nice generic montage CP in line with midways style. Not bad. I think its gonna look really pixellated when its printed though as your panel is huge! my £0.02
When pixelated clipart just wont do, just call for Betty

Thanks. I know my panel is huge. I just didn't think a smaller one would look right with a showcase cab.  I sized it down to put on the website but i prodused the CPO in full sized 32" x 13 " on photoshop so i don't think it will be pixilated. I'm still thinking about resizing the CP.Are there any suggestions to a good 2 player panel size that would still look OK with a showcase. My TV is only 27", the cab is scaled down a Little to fit the TV and the cp is gonna be closer to it to make up for the smaller TV.

Are you using X arcade's universal adapter for the Dreamcast to Arcade joysticks and buttons? I was thinking of putting a Dreamcast in my MAME cab, my computer just died recently. The Dreamcast seems like a good cheap alternative with many good games.
